Primavera has a pale cream to golden yellow color which will darken and redden with age. The grain is usually straight to slightly interlocked and it has a medium texture. The wood gives off a high natural lustre. Primavera is rated as a durable wood in regards to decay. It is fair to work with but does have a moderate blunting effect. The wood turns, glues, stains, and finishes well.
