Apricot has a heartwood that is a light brown color and a sapwood that is generally thin and slightly paler than the heartwood. Apricot has a fine even texture with a moderate natural lustre. The end grain is semi-ring-porous. It is generally easy to work with and glues, turns, and finishes well.
