Beli has a light brown color. The grain is interlocked and has a medium to coarse texture. It has a moderate natural lustre. The end grain is diffuse-porous. Beli is rated as moderately durable when it comes to decay. It is an easy wood to work with but can react to ferrous metals, which can cause staining on the wood. Beli glues and finishes well.
