Peroba Rosa has a heartwood with a yellow to pinkish red color and a sapwood with a grey to yellow color. The grain is straight to slightly irregular and it has a fine uniform texture. The end grain is diffuse-porous. Peroba Rosa is rated as durable in regards to decay.it is easy to work with and glues, turns, and finishes well.
